Student's Spotlight
Paul Daniel Tayag
This month, we shine the spotlight on Paul Daniel Tayag, a motivated student whose ambition brought him to HIC. Paul chose our programs specifically for the opportunities they offer in combining academic learning with practical application.
What motivated you to join the HIC program?
"I wanted to expand my horizons, and I believe that this program will provide me with the skills I need to pursue the career I desire. The co-op component of the program really attracted me because it offers a balance of theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience."
Paul’s background has been in economics, but his passion is more in the hospitality sector where he hopes eventually to become a pastry chef and chocolatier.

Holmes Institute Canada Updates
New Course Alert!
We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone for Holmes Institute Canada. We have just received approval from the Ontario Ministry of Colleges and Universities to run our new course, the HIC Diploma in Business Management with Co-Op. This program is designed to blend business knowledge with practical, hands-on experience, preparing students for real-world business environments.
The new Diploma of Business Management features one year of study on campus plus one full year of (paid) work experience.
